The Pambula-Merimbula Lions Club and Merimbula Chamber of Commerce are providing an added sparkle this Christmas with fairy lights and decorations around Twyford Hall.
Lion Phil Hall, Jany Butta from the Merimbula Chamber of Commerce Christmas decorations committee and Lion Darryl Hay outside Twyford Hall.
The lights and decorations are up at Twyford Hall.
The Lions Club did the work in placing and connecting the many lights and Christmas decorations and the chamber provided the finance.
Jany Butta, from the chamber’s Christmas decorations committee said that it was a foundation for coming years.
Decorations have also been placed aroundMerimbula’s Market Street shops and at the Tura Beach shopping centre.
President of the chamber, James Smith thanked both Jany Butta and the Lions Club for helping light up Twyford Hall.
In the run up to Christmas there will be two chamber supported late night shopping days:
Wednesday, December 16 until8pm
Wednesday,December 23 until8pm
Younger members of the community may wish to note that Santa will be in town very soon.

Twyford Hall –Saturday, December 12 and Saturday, December 19.
Woolworths Tura Beach – Sunday, December 13 and Sunday, December 20.
Robert Smith, Pambula –Saturday, December 12 from11am to 2pm, Friday, December 18, from 1pm to 4pm andSaturday, December 19, from11am to 3pm.
